Company Description: Gauvreau Terre De Surface is a bulk materials sales, transportation and mechanical company. Our main operating sectors are the sale of materials, construction and excavation. A family business, private, 100% Quebec and a pioneer in the Outaouais industry since 1985.
The company is looking for a Dump Truck Driver to fill its team. The individual in this position will report to the Supervisor and the Dispatcher and will be responsible for loading and transporting materials from site to site. The general functions are as follows:
- Ensure the collection of materials and their delivery;
- Carry out mandatory daily mechanical inspections;
- Ensure that the documentation is properly completed;
- Maintain safety rules at all times. Both in terms of operations with the dumper and when driving, and
- Comply with the laws in force.
Qualifications required for the position:
- Class 3 driving license;
- Minimum 2 years of experience;
- Acceptable driving record, and;
- Skill in using electronic tools. CARDS, PUNCH.
Skills required for the position:
- Experience in independently operating a 12-wheel truck;
- Autonomy, sense of initiative and organization;
- Work effectively in a team;
- Integrity and respect;
- Resourcefulness;
- Speed of execution, and
- Punctuality.
