Job title: General human resources technician

Job type: Permanent

Weekly schedule: 40 hours

Start date: As soon as possible

Company description: Gauvreau Terre De Surface is a bulk materials sales, transportation and mechanics company. Our main operating segments are materials sales, construction and excavation. A family business, private, 100% Quebecois and pioneer in the Outaouais industry since 1985.

The company is looking for a business partner specializing in human resources to fill its team. The individual in position will report to the Director and the Controller and will be responsible for offering advice and guidance to management in human resources management and industrial relations. The general functions are as follows:

  • Recruitment management;
  • Management of employee files;
  • Management of labor standards, pay equity and occupational health and safety;
  • Group insurance management;
  • Management of labor relations;
  • Administrative tasks;
  • Payroll processing, and
  • Provide accounting support when necessary.

Qualifications required for the position:

  • 2 years of experience providing human resources advice and consultancy, and
  • A certificate, college diploma or bachelor's degree in industrial relations or human resources management will be considered an asset.

Skills required for the position:

  • Experience using the Microsoft Office 360 ​​suite independently;
  • Autonomy, sense of initiative and organization;
  • Very good command of French, both oral and written;
  • Know how to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality;
  • Work effectively in a team, and
  • Integrity and respect.

Advantages:

  • Experience using the Acomba accounting system;
  • Application of collective agreements issued by the Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ);
  • Bilingualism, and
  • Experience using the Nethris payroll system.
